Design Philosophy

I am a web designer and developer, with strengths in visual design, UX/UI and information architecture.
With a background in fine art, I see each website as a painting. Researching the product, understanding my client and working collaboratively are equally important.

Current Design

Here are selected examples of my work showing illustration, web design, and development including traditional, conservative and experimental design and development. I use WordPress, Drupal, Webflow and Adobe AEM for some of these sites, and a variety of illustration software programs to create scientific journal cover designs.  for some of the scientific websites, I collaborate closely with research teams who help inform content for a few of the below research studies and some projects.
